THE CONTEXT
The final result matters.
But at what cost?
Every intervention is a balance between what the surface can still offer and what the process demands.
Today, cost is not measured only in hours. It is also measured in what remains on the surface.
PAINT HEALTH
Before the service,
comes the diagnosis.
The first question is not which package to sell. It is: what does this paint actually need? Paint health must guide every responsible technical decision.
Do not begin with the service on the menu. Begin with the real condition of the surface.
Determine what to remove, what to preserve and which preparation is genuinely necessary.
When the surface is suitable, FUSION makes it possible to return functional material to the clearcoat.
THE LIMIT OF REMOVAL ALONE
What is removed
is not restored.
Correction by removal continues to have value. But when the clearcoat is limited, time becomes a significant part of the cost or the process is disproportionate to the defect, having only one technical response can become a limitation.
Evolution does not mean replacing what already works. It means having one more possibility to evaluate.
Explore the technical principleA NEW TECHNICAL POSSIBILITY
FUSION is not a coating.FUSION is a Clearcoat Reconstruction System.
After correct assessment and preparation, FUSION integrates new clearcoat into the existing finish and creates a uniform, technically sound foundation for the service that follows.
Nano protection, coatings, PPF and other compatible systems perform best on a correctly prepared surface. FUSION focuses on the quality of that foundation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Clear answers.
Before you decide.
SkyGloss-approved technical answers about the system, the training and what comes next.
Is FUSION a coating?
No. FUSION is a Clearcoat Reconstruction System, not a ceramic coating, wax, sealant, or paint protection product. It is designed to rebuild and restore the vehicle's existing clearcoat, creating a healthier, stronger paint finish. Once the clearcoat has been restored, you can apply whatever coating system you choose to further enhance its performance. FUSION builds the foundation—coatings enhance it.
Is FUSION a paint correction?
Yes. FUSION represents the next evolution of paint correction. Traditional paint correction restores appearance by removing clearcoat through polishing. FUSION restores appearance by rebuilding clearcoat after proper surface preparation. Both improve the finish, but FUSION leaves the vehicle with a healthier paint surface rather than a thinner one. That's why our philosophy is simple: Build Clearcoat. Don't Cut It.
Does FUSION eliminate the need to remove material?
No. Every vehicle must still be properly inspected and prepared. Depending on the condition of the paint, polishing and traditional paint correction may still be required to remove defects and create the proper surface. FUSION simply changes what happens next by giving professionals the ability to rebuild clearcoat after preparation, rather than leaving the finish permanently thinner.
Does FUSION eliminate polishing?
No. Polishing remains an important tool in professional paint correction. The objective isn't to eliminate polishing, but to use it responsibly. When sufficient healthy clearcoat is available, polishing is an excellent method of refining the surface. FUSION then allows you to rebuild the clearcoat, resulting in a healthier finish and better long-term paint preservation.
Why is clearcoat thickness so important?
Because clearcoat is the vehicle's first line of defense. It provides gloss, UV protection, chemical resistance, environmental protection, and long-term durability. Every time clearcoat is removed, a portion of that protection is lost forever. SkyGloss was built around preserving and rebuilding this critical layer whenever possible, helping vehicles maintain healthier paint throughout their lifetime.
Can FUSION be combined with ceramic coatings?
Absolutely. FUSION restores and rebuilds the clearcoat foundation. Once cured, you can apply whatever coating system you prefer, allowing ceramic coatings and other advanced coatings to perform exactly as intended. FUSION strengthens the foundation; coatings deliver their performance benefits.
Is the training genuinely practical?
Yes. The certification programme combines technical education with extensive hands-on application. You'll learn how to inspect paint, prepare the surface correctly, apply FUSION, understand the science behind Clearcoat Reconstruction, and confidently integrate the system into your existing services. Our goal is not simply to demonstrate the technology, but to prepare you to use it successfully every day.
Do I need previous experience with FUSION?
No. Previous FUSION experience is not required. However, the programme is designed for professionals with experience working on automotive painted surfaces, including detailing, paint correction, refinishing, or collision repair. We teach both the technology and the philosophy behind Clearcoat Reconstruction so you can confidently introduce an entirely new category of service to your customers.
What happens after the training?
Certification is only the beginning. After successfully completing the programme, you'll become part of the SkyGloss ecosystem with continued access to technical support, marketing resources, educational materials, business tools, product updates, and future training opportunities. Our mission is to build long-term partnerships that help certified professionals continue to grow alongside the SkyGloss brand.
What types of vehicles can FUSION be used on?
FUSION is designed for virtually any modern vehicle with an OEM or professionally refinished clearcoat that is in suitable condition. During certification, you'll learn how to properly inspect paint systems, evaluate vehicle suitability, and determine when FUSION is the right solution for your customer.
Will customers notice the difference?
Absolutely. Customers immediately notice the exceptional gloss, clarity, and finish quality. More importantly, they're receiving something traditional paint correction cannot provide—a vehicle that leaves with more functional clearcoat than before the restoration process began. That's a meaningful difference for customers who value long-term paint health, preservation, and appearance.
Why is SkyGloss different?
Because we believe the industry has been asking the wrong question for decades. Instead of asking, “How much clearcoat can we safely remove?”, we ask, “How can we preserve and rebuild it?” SkyGloss introduced Clearcoat Reconstruction to shift the industry's focus from simply improving appearance to improving the long-term health of automotive paint. Every product, every process, and every innovation we develop supports one mission: Build Clearcoat. Don't Cut It.
